EVENT LISTINGS
Kitten Pyramid - 10 Years of Uh-Oh!
Kitten Pyramid 10 year anniversary of acclaimed first album Uh-Oh! Join the psychedelic prog rock collective based in Burton on Trent for a night at the Olde Royal Oak, the first stage they ever played as a band.
Produced by brit-rock legend Nick Brine, championed by BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson (who they supported on tour), Kitten Pyramid has been featured in The Independent, The Guardian, claimed track of the week in Classic Rock and scored a hat-trick of 4* album reviews in Prog.
Take a Cardiacs type jaunty sound and combine it with some thoroughly Syd era Floyd whimsy and hard edged Crimson meets Tull passages, wig out Hendrix guitar, pastoral brass and a bit of Genesis too and you get somewhere near the Kitten Pyramid sound.
